Covid-19: Haryana to ‘completely seal’ borders with Delhi, says Anil Vij | Delhi News

CHANDIGARH: Considering sudden hike in Covid-19 cases in the districts sharing boundaries with Delhi, the Haryana government on Thursday decided to seal state’s borders. An order in this regard has been passed by Anil Vij, home minister Haryana. The order, however, clarified that those permitted by the Delhi high court and allowed in accordance with the MHA guidelines, would be exempted from these restrictions.

Meanwhile, the state of Haryana recorded 123 Covid-19 positive cases on Thursday, which is the highest ever spike in a single day in the state. Earliest highest figure was 94 cases on Tuesday. The total number of Covid-19 cases in the state has reached to 1504.

With one death reported from Gurugram district, the total number of deaths in Haryana has reached to 19.
