“The Chief Minister has decided that all the 10th class students will be promoted to the next class by giving them grades based on their internal assessment marks,” read an official statement released on Monday.
“The government has resolved to take a decision on the degree/post-graduate examinations based on the situation in the immediate future,” the statement read further.
Earlier, the board had decided to postpone the TS SSC exams after the Telangana high court had asked the state govt to not conduct the examination in the GHMC area. The districts of Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Ranga Reddy are identified as Covid-19 hotspots and hence, HC didn’t allowed state board to hold exams in these areas.

As per the schedule announced on May 22, the Telangana SSC examination was scheduled to be held from Monday, June 8, 2020, to July 5, 2020. There are about 5.35 lakh SSC students in the state.
On March 20, the Telangana High Court had directed the state to postpone the Class 10 exams, scheduled for March 23 to April 6, in view of the Covid-19 outbreak.
The state had conducted the exams for three papers of the first and second languages before March 22 as per the original timetable.
